Yeah, I'm of the opinion it's probably their best work yet. Absolutely wonderful story, animation, etc. Of course thats par for the course for Pixar :D

Ummmm, is it just me or is the story a rip off of "doc hollywood"?
Then again Doc Hollywood is most likely a rip off of something else.

Man that was a nice Porche! Shame about the rest, sorry Michael J. Fox.
my 2 cents
I just got to boast on Pixar!
Pixar has always been the forerunner in CG animation. They pretty much invented the genre! I am so impressed with the fluidity of motion and life that their work brings. NO other company comes close in my opinion! This movie demonstrates my point exactly. All I can say is; Pixar pride right here guys. *thumps chest
(100% box office success rate)
I am so glad the CGTalk got an article on them! I can't wait to see more! Pixar's work never ceases to create inspiration in me. Any way, my rant is done. I love those guys.

The article was alright, alot of nice highres cars images, but alot of what I read in the article I had also previously read in an A+E article. And you guys really need to get a better spell checker. So many spelling mistakes.

If the movie is as much a rip-off as the game, than i am sure it will be dissapointing for me. But i guess i will be watching it sooner or later, even if i really donīt like the style of the renders i have seen so far. I also think they look too much wannabe-funny.
I hope i will be surprised and proven wrong when i watch the movie. I feel that this Disney-movie is trying hard to earn money but it will fail over time because of lacking substance and much too much stereotype humor and characters.

I loved the movie so much. As a car family... my father and I loved it so much because of the car jokes but even more for the overall story about our world today and the decline of "our town"
Its a wonderful story that is very topical today.
Visually its stunning, animation is super spiffy cool with icecream and peanut butter topping...
yeah i liked Cars quite a bit.
There are so many 3d films coming out... and i'm sick of them all because the animation industry is racing to repeat itself... But PIXAR continues to deliver heart and soul for adults and their children.
Bravo.

Out of all the muck of constant release of CG movies, this has to be the one that I love...
There seems to be Sooo many that come out lately, seems like they make the films like clockwork, but this one is a Must See for any person..
Great film!

Honestly, I thought the story wasn't so good, but you have to see the film because of the short film 'One man band' THAT was a masterpiece. MUCH better than the actual movie. So cars was my first disappointment in pixar.
cheers, A.

Saw 'Cars' yesterday and I really loved it. The story is not incredible as per say but it got me entertained thoughout the 2h I sat in awe with the quality of the animations and images.
It was also a funny piece * gotta love the tractors sequence! * and there are tons of play on words.
Need I say the animation was just outstanding? It is interesting to see how they convey so much emotion with little to animate. I wished the article showed examples of the rigs in use.
I think I will watch it again as I surely missed details right and left.
Pixar once again took it to another level. This movie will be hard to top CG-wise so I can't wait to find out what 'Ratatouille' will be like.
