Well, it looks good...

First, you might want to state what your goals are. Realisitc? Stylized?

And for the love of all that is holy, dude, give us a shaded wireframe with out smoothing so we can really crit the model.

It's your design, so there is'nt really much to say. I personally think the mouth is too wide, and lacks detail in the lips.

Look'n pretty good so far...especially for your first head.

It will be stylized head.

I'm in touble with lips and ears. I am ashamed of wireframe, it's so dirty. I will post, but first need a cleanup.

I'm a newbie myself, so maybe i'm not in the position of critisizing other people's work.

But from what I know so far, the wireframe model you posted needs to be "cleaned", to get rid the three and five-sided polygons. There're even six-sided polygons there.

Maybe you're not going to animate the guy, but i think it's a good practice to keep your polygons into quads. If not for animation's sake, it looks nicer anyway, heheheh.

Good luck with the project, Augustus. Keep on posting your progress!

Animation? First i should learn modeling:) And five and six sided polgons, yes, these are the cause of my shame:rolleyes:

Well, yes, I understand.

I'm learning modeling, too. I'm trying to get my modeling skill right first, THEN I'll dip my toe into animation :)

All I'm saying is, if we're learning how to model, why not learning how to model correctly? Since, maybe, if one day we become modelers or something, there's a huge chance that the model will be animated or posed by someone, right? ^_^

Might as well learn about how to prepare a good model for animation from now on. What do you think?

Yes, you're right. I will try to cleanup my model of course, but it seems re-modeling will be easier than cleaning:p And i have no idea how can avoid multi-face polys, especially around mouth. Well, we'll see.;)
