1st your blueprints seem to be a little squashed... make sure that they arn't being stretched.

Next: choose an area you like, like the side fenders or the hood and just start with whatever technique you want... are you gonna use poly modeling?

let us know which method and style you want to use and we can help you more

I know this isnt for game modeling, but I host a series of tutorials giving different methods of building car models. Since my site is devoted to car games... for the most part. Check it out... there are lots of different methods too, not just the blueprint design... Alot of building a mechanical device is understanding that device to it's fullest. Cars are something that I understand.

DJ-ZoMbiE, it sounds like you're quite new to max, so here is a little advice. First I would recommend before undertaking such complex object----a car, that you learn all of the basic modeling techniques and pick the 1 that works best for you. Look into poly-modeling, box modeling, splines, even nurbs(which aren't the best in max IMO) Now using splines doesn't just mean that you draw splines, you need to have surfaces with 3 or 4 sides, or the surface modifier won't create surfaces. I would say do the Rhino head tutorial included with max if you are going to try to use splines, otherwise you will get nowhere fast. I know you want to jump right in and model a car, but trust me on this, if you don't have a grasp of the technique you are going to use, you will waste a lot of time trying to figure things out half way through your project.

Here's a tutorial that really helped me figure out poly modelling a car. It is currently offline due to so many people viewing it, but as you can read in the thread, it will be back online shortly (with any luck).
