I really couldn't decide if this was Off Topic or not.

Ive been following this for a couple of months now and didn't know how well known this was or not, but comedian Tom Green has set up a live broadcasting studio in his L.A. house and is starting the worlds first LIVE phone-in world-wide internet talk show. He has lots of videos of his daily adventures on his site but the LIVE show will begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 11:00 PM Eastern Time.

The site is http://www.tomgreen.com (http://www.tomgreen.com/).

Check it out. The video plays on the main page and can be zoomed in to display full screen. If you watch some of his other videos on his blog page, you can see that hes really become pretty technical and talks alot about his computers and using final cut pro and various editing programs. He talks alot about the convergence of TV and Internet and is very proud of the fact that while Bill Maher has the first internet talk show over on amazon.com, he has the worlds first LIVE world-wide PHONE-IN talk show. Just seemed pretty cool to me and regardless of your opinions of tom green some of you might enjoy it considering its an internet first. You might even want to call in to show tomorrow.

Sorry - this is not the first live internet TV talk show by a long shot. I worked at an internet TV company back in the 90's and there were at least 3 other companies just like ours doing the same thing.

In fact, we negotiated with Tom Green to do a show on our site (right before the dot com crash). I got to meet the sidekick guy that always was shown as a face on a TV on Tom's MTV show (I forget his name).

He claims it to be the first WORLD-WIDE live PHONE-IN internet talk show. According to him, Larry King Live is the only other show doing a World-Wide Phone-In show, but, of course, its on TV. This is only on the internet.
