View Full Version : Taxi Cab concept
parel 01-13-2003, 03:23 AM I dont know if this fits in exactly or not but -this is a concept for a future Taxi cab. You are driven by a remote taxi driver. I am looking for crits on perspective etc and any useful marker and digital sketching techniques

I don't know why no one has replied to this yet. I think it's very solid marker work. However, I'm not experienced enough to offer any tips with the markers. I can say though, artistically there's too much glow on the right. The car looks really fuzzy there because of it. I do like the design as well, but shouldn't there be a bit more room in the cockpit? Only one passenger and no storage space?

Hy, is this for real, I mean... is it for a game, for fun, or for industrial production?
I can't really find any thing to say.
As Kirt, I wonder the low replays...
as concept... I generaly think you shoul make a double seat car.
you see.. in statistics... most car have 1,6 people inside (city cars)
cabes have about 2,4 wich means tha lots of time there are 3 people in the cab.
so... that's it, nothing else from me... go no other crits...
Just keep up that POWER!

Thanks guys,
Kirt, Kazuya Mochu -I am doing stuff for my portfolio to send out and I wnated to have some solid sketches. The reason why I designed the car with 1 passenger seat is beacuse 97% of the time a car commutes there is only 1 passenger. In Atlanta GA, having two persons in a vehicle makes it a High Occupancy Vehicle. BUT ...
That being said I am working on the two seated version and some more luggage space. Thanks for the suggestion about the flares. I dont think I saved a version without the flares doh! You are right, it is a little much. BTW How do the guys in the other forums post such large pictures? I had to optimize my attachment for ages before it was accepted!
