View Full Version : Man, his dog and fishes

Inspired by a man sitting next to a harbour I did this drawing placing a stick in his hand and his faithful friend on the side. Actually there was a wife next to him, but I though some more faithful creature will fit better ;-)
Any way that was very peaceful Sunday. Any comments are welcome :)
PS. Hope real media fits this forum

Welcome to the Anatomy Forum! :)
You have some lovely work in your CGPortfolio, and it's always nice to see new people here. :) The drawing is quite charming! The main thing that I would say is that the upper arm looks a bit long and the lower arm perhaps a bit small / short. But it appears that you were going for more of a charming stylization of the piece so the proportions don't really bother me. Hope to see more of your work! :)

Thanks Rebeccak for your welcome :)
With lower arm I tried to push it more toward the figure center, so it should be shorter because perspective. I guess lack of shading does not suggest that through so for a viewer it might look slighly distorted proportion. It is tough to get to lower detail at such a small format (A6).
Thanks again for your comment,
