This is a nice painting, but I feel it needs more horizontal (letterbox) space. The technique and subject are awesome. Just some comments. Why without references? Why risking a good picture for a lack of good references? At the end of the day no one will really care if you used references or not. What only matters is the result. A good result. The thing is that if any picture fails, a "without reference" notice is not going to save it. Don't take me wrong, I admire tha achievement involved here. ;)

i konw what you want to tell me..but the problem is this: the first time that i post this pic the forum leader decline my submission because he need the photo reference....so..i dont used any ref..that's all...bye...

Got it. The moderators are always looking for photoshop filter pic tweakers. Why did they particulary wanted a reference from you? Many people use references directly or indirectly. Did you mention it on the submition? Tell me about it.

HI!!the only ref that i've used is my memory...i love cars and i work with it...but all this is not a problem i'm here for learn...the next post will be more complete...the last thing: i saw your portfolio..i love your style....i want to improve the quality of this image..have you some triks to tell me?thanks and bye.....
p.s.:sorry for my english i'm italian....

great piece!!! i love the action u freezed in this .... nice the way u blended the subject to the background obtaining a good depth of field effect.
the flames are a great touch for the composition.
