View Full Version : Best way to refresh an image...

This was a problem in V7 and I find the same thing in V8.

I make a texture in PS, apply it to a material and then to an object. Let's say the image needs to be changed. I go back to PS, change the image, and then replace the old image in my "tex" folder. Now the image is still previews as the old one. Even if I save, close, and then re-open the viewport and the "materials" icon still show the old image. Is there anyway to refresh the texture without having to make a whole new one?

Thanks y'all.

simply open the material and channel the image is loaded in click on the little arrow as if you were going to add a shader, you'll notice there is coppy channel, paste channel, and reload image, use that one and save yourself some time :)
