CGTalk - Arm swing in CS 3.3

When I use Create Multiple Footsteps, even using all default settings, the right arm swings about half the swing of the left arm. I'm current on all updates and haven't been able to find a reference in the manual. Anybody else having this problem or have any suggestions?
