Hello!
I know it's been discussed but I've been reading of too many methods and too many potential problems to go with them.
Currently I have 1 day maybe a bit more, to learn how to and to rig a biped character in cinema 4d, so i decided to ask you guys, what would be the simplest and less time consuming way of articulating a single mesh character in cinema 4d and if possible a link to a tutorial on the method discribed.
Nothing fancy really I will only need to do a walk and run cicle anyway.
Also, I've done the facial expressions in posemixer, does anyone know how to invoke the sliders for the animations into the viewport?

Thanks in advance for the attention!

Hey Vortexrage,
I think you might have to get a little more detailed about what you are using and which method you want to use. I have a blog that has videos on it that show the rigging process if you are a cheapo like myself and just want to use c4d out of the box.

The tutorials actually can still come in handy for if you used another metod than mine ( from a parenting point of view anyways.

I also just posted (tonight as a matter of fact) a fully riged biped ( the PMan guy I made awhile back).

cheers
-Danny

tks a lot, i'll check it out in a bit!
I have a small biped mouse character, i was thinking of using bones with mocca with soft ik so that the ears and belly flop around when he walks, the animation consists of him lifting himself from a sofa, walking a bit and then running a bit more.
It's a single mesh character by the way and there would be a bone for each of the four hand fingers and perhaps just one for the 2 fingers in the foot.
Anyway as I sayed, I'm open to any suggestion since i'm almost ignorant about this. :)

Thanks in advance for anything you might throw my way!
