Reactor Interactive seeks a few more qualified individuals for our lead title, the space combat game Sector 13. Already in the advanced stages of development, Sector 13 is a multiplayer, online action game boasting quality graphics and exceptional programming. Our demo has already placed in several competitons and won the Caligari Summer Shootout, and we've been featured several times on GameDev.net. You can read more about us, as well as find links to the demo and our many screenshots at our site, http://www.reactorinteractive.net (http://www.reactorinteractive.net/).
Highly motivated, disciplined, and organised, we're looking for like-minded individuals with experience working in an online team enviroment. We currently need an additional 3d modeler and texture artist to work with the team on completeing remaining art assets.
Reactor Interative is an independantly assembled team and as such, work is on a voluntary basis until publication of the game. All work is guaranteed being acredited, and you retain rights for use in your portfolio/resume. This is a team that goes the distance, and provides a perfect breakthrough experience with a potentially lucrative future.
3d Modeler
------------
- We can help furnish tools to a degree, but you should come complete with your own modeling software, capable of exporting to industry standard model formats.
- Experience in low polygon count modeling for game pipelines is a must.
Although not required, applicants with experience in the following are a major plus,
- UV mapping,
- Texture mapping,
- Science fiction genre,
- Mechanics of multiplayer game play and balance,
- An eye for creative, futuristic design.
2d Texture Artist
-------------------
- Again, though we can help to a degree, you should come complete with your own digital art software.
- Experience in texturing 3d models is a must.
- Although open to 3d texturing techniques, you must have experience in painting 2d UV templates.
- Prior game model skinning experience is a major plus.
- Good composition skills and an eye for final layout also a plus.
For further questions and to apply, you can reach me via e-mail at csekorski@reactorinteractive.net, or by MSN instant messenger at the same address.
