OT:Question on Director

he im looking for the same thing..being ages after director is upgraded! i love that thing ....anyway still i didnt hear anything about upgrading it:(

Yeah, this is a funny place to see this post ;) , same question appears on the Adobe Director forum every couple of weeks with usually the same answer: no Director is not dead, yes it has been updated, yes there's usually a long wait between version updates.

There was a minor update (10.1.1) just a couple months ago, so Adobe is still keeping the project active and Director still has a fairly large following. There are still alot of things you can only do in Director and cannot do in Flash, so I suspect we'll continue to see Director around for a while, maybe a long while.
