great bug. Just an asthetic note...shouldn't the wings be of a different material than the bug itself? It dosn't really matter, but that is the only "belivablilty" issue that I have with it. Very nice, good use of DOF in the video.

The only issue with the video is the very end where it stalls at the bar code on the back end...dosn't seem right when all of the other shots are so quick.

about how long did those frames take to render each?

(render monkey)which means i dont sleep,i dont eat and generally
dont see the light of day very much(server crushes).

Thats a beautiful little model, with lots of great detail. Very impressivly done. The video was well put together but as it consisted of camera animation only i was a little disapointed I wanted to see some insect animation :)

ok im gonna try 2 do it all at once:
-yes,my spelling is lousy.
-yes,there is a pause on the last frame of the reel,its too long,
unfortunatly,i have a flaw-there is only one person on this
planet upon whom i cannot say a bad word-the guy who composed the thing(no,its not me).
-rendering took between 20min to 20hrs per frame,on a pc,
866cpu.
-thank u,ugenny,for the lovely message(he made me send this).
because of u im wasting my time instead of working
(iv already got 2 prossesores down,20 scenes in render,and
10 more 2 fix).
-as 4 animation,i like animating a lot more than modelling,
but in this case,are u mental,u try 2 rig that thing,im trying 2
keep my self sane thank you.
-as 4 wallpaper images,i have all the frames rendered in
full pal(720x576),ill put some on,if i have the time.
