I created a Duplicate Instance of an object, but when I scale one of them, the other one won't change, why?

'cause they got their own transforms, if you want to scale the shape, scale the shape components all at once.

hit f8, select all the vertices and scale. Actually, before you do that, hit F1 and read "Maya Essentials":rolleyes:
