I'm trying to create dust for my model in photoshop and i'm not happy with my results. i turn down my specular to zero. I don't know if its a texture problem or a lighting...maybe someone on here can help me....

looks good, but hard to see with the texture and light how they are.

hello people some of you have seen this post a while back. I've decided to get rid of the dust because I could not get the look I wanted. So i decided to clean it up so to speak. any sugestions? comments?
thanks in advance
you might wanna raise the texture resolution significantly to get crisper "dust". When painting the dust texture...use a sharper brush or add some noise to it (that looks blurry like some kind of fuzz)

Leeys 100 times better without the texture.

Well dust sits on the top of the object and usually desaturates it. It also looks really fuzzy, so grab a fur simulator even.
