Hi guys.

www.ty19345.com/chin_ko_vfx_cgtalk.mov (http://www.ty19345.com/chin_ko_vfx_cgtalk.mov) < 9mb

This my visual effects project.
I'm using Maya for modeling and texture.
Combustion and After Effects for compositing, and Boujou for the 3D tracking.
I have spent some time studying 3D modeling, texture, lighting, rendering, conept art, sculpture, and everything from 2D to 3D. I love to learn new programs and concepts that will let me transform my thoughts into reality. Thanks !! Hopefully you enjoy watching it :)

Hey, this is some great work here! The first two were fantastic! No crits on them.

The third composite didn't fit well into the scene. It looked like the tracking was off as well as the lighting and overall feel. Maybe it was also the choice of footage for that scene. The big factories just don't look like they would fit in on top of that mountain at all.

Other than that I was really impressed! Good job!

overall you have really impressed me! most of the stuff i had no idea what was composited and what was real.. thats always the key to good composites. but i have to agree with the post above.. that factory on top of the mountain just doesnt fit at all. my other crit is that its all very dark.. like ur using the godzilla effect, but the work is matched real well. maybe something thats a lil lighter? anywayz awesome work there! great reel! :D
