Sorry to post here and not on the Phytools Forum, ( although I did anyway but it's a bit like a ghost town there ) but I would like to hear from people who use Phytools and the workflow they use.

Here's my dilemma. I usually set up a scene and once everything is pretty much worked out I turn off the simulation and save the file. This is how you render it anyway. However when you read the file back in, if you didn't park the animation slider at frame 0 when you saved it, the file opens up without the simulation, and is effectively a freeze of the sim at that point ( let's say frame 48). Of course if you then enable the sim it starts it from the position at frame 48, rather than the original position. I guess the only thing to do would be to put a key frame at the start, but that kind of defeats Phytools great workflow, which allows you to freely change the position of stuff whilst parked at frame 0, without having to constantly reset your keyframes for each seperate object.

Hope someone can offer some tips because, to be honest, the manual is slim to say the least!
