I like the weight you have in it. But there is too much secondary motion. Here is what i would do:
1) Lock down the visor - it really doesn't need to move. If it doesn't add, it doesn't move.
2) Use a boolean to get a nice cut in that brush on top of his head, and stop it from moving around. It kind of looks like jello, Also, consider a nice 'brush' shader up there.
3) Subdivide the head so that it is smooth. It looks too pointy.
4) Make the 'skirt' stiffer.
5) Make the feet slightly stiffer and not so jello like.
I really like this walk cycle. I think you caught the weight just right and the subtle movement of the arms is nice too. But we kind of loose it in all that secondary motion.
Besides, i think it would be fun if that visor kept shutting at every worst possible moment...

I agree, the visor and the skirt thing are moving too much for such a controlled walk. Secondary is rarely moving more than what is driving it, unless it's something light and flowy. Is the right foot popping in the step out? And yeah the toe motion is right, just a little too much for the mood of the walk.
Overall I think it's cool! Just a few tweeks to go. Good job.

Is there going to be an update? I your rendition of the character and it would be great to see how it is coming along.
Just wondering...
Love your rendition of Marvin, he's one of my favorite characters of all time. Great choice.
