By the looks of your pencil sketch, your class must have been unimaginably exciting.
The girl's starting to look very nice especially the hair.

it seems we all have some exiting yesterdays cause when i was on a meeting with some clients ,i was drawing monsters with Zbrsuh on my laptop....:scream:

anyway..nice start linda...looks promising....nice coors and mood.....i prefer Your castle to have some kind of castlevania style......and the dragon to be in some pre attacking pose(to you two)...the girl face is very well drawn,specialy the nose;)

That's a really nice figure interaction there, it's not some boring stiff pose. And your backgrounds are really nice, very well done.


Not that it really affects the final output enough, and I admit I still struggle with this as well, and it's so damn basic, but I keep forgetting, keep your pencil strokes light while you're laying out your lines and then darken them after. Less smudging when you erase and less liklihood of lines being "burned" into the page.

yeah i think my problem is that i use a really hard pencil i think its H2 or something like that. if i used softer it would get even worse.. but im not bothered by it so much cause it all ends up in photoshop anyway..^^but thanx alot on the suggestion, ill use it^^:D

ok.. here's another one.. i did some details on the grass, and it was a pain to make his face, i repainted it 100 times and im still not satisfied.. well its not over yet.. im not giving up.

this is going very good.....the environment looks pretty much better now and the grases turn to be great,,good details and lighting:thumbsup: i think you better change the facial expression of the boy,,its not good enough compared to the girl's face and his head ..mmmm i think you better rotate it a little more to right..maybe.....

yeah i think so too.. i worked on his face and changed it over and over again... but i dont like it even now.. its not very logical.. ill have to think of a better expression...thanx alot mate :D

great update Linda, love the mood and your way to knock out details :)

If you cant get the face right, i found out a good trick is to copy the Face only on a blank new file zoom it in and out flip it and analyze what you like or dislike or is off :) usually, a little break and a fresh pair of eyes help too :)
