Hi there, I've serious intentions in pushing my drawing skills so I'm opening this thread... c&c are welcome!
The more the better, since I have to prepare a book to apply for entering an animation school and I'm still far away from a good level...
I'll start with these two... I think the first one has too much outline (the right leg seems bad, too) and the second lacks in contrast...
the peices are very nice...
just out of curiosity did u references for these peices..
i hope to see more work from you

Welcome aboard! It's great to see so many new Anatomy Threads go up, and it seems like you have quite a strong foundation already ~ could you tell us a bit more about your art training and background? I think this always helps to know. :) Also, do you have access to figure drawing workshops / classes in your area?

Thanks Lute, and yes I used reference.
Hello Rebecca, the first thing I wanna say is a big THANK YOU for all the great work you've done here for us all, it's amazingly helpful!
About my training, I liked to draw as a kid but I left it behind when I was convinced by my family to start classical studies at high school. Latin and Greek were boring so I decided to study design at university... the drawing courses were pretty much technical, so I lack any formal training in traditional freehand drawing. I'm studing Loomis and Hogart's books to overcome this.
Sadly I'm afraid there aren't figure drawing courses around... only wolves and wildboars in this little mountain town where I live. :D
Below, another figure drawing and two studies from Michelangelo (hope He'll forgive me :))

You're welcome, and thanks for the kind words. :)
Great to see the Michelangelo copies, and I would encourage you to do many more of these!

And definitely check out Erich's thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=297560%20), as he's done around 100 master copies. :)
