Around 8 hrs to complete the painting.
I used the standard brushes in Photoshop and I painted with a Wacom Graphire 2.
I like to paint it help me to train my eyes with colours, mood and composition.

WOW! amazing, great work from a great guy. The light penetration thru the rocks is really adding to the image beauty. The details in the shadow region is very nice.i am just curious to see this img without clouds and left side of the crater in the middle made a little softer at the edges(it seems to b a little sharper than the other midground elements at the first look).looking forward to see more works from our great guru.
Nice to see your good work again, really a nice piece of work i wish i had learnt lighting with you :p
Best wishes
Keep doing good work ;)

Hey man,
Great to finally see your work here! It's very good - as I already told you. The sky is very well done, and the general atmosphere is great.
Can't wait to see it with the camera movement!

very nice work! I think it could use something in it to make it more than just a baron wasteland, perhaps some people or animals or something? Something to make it come alive.

The idea was to show the possible consequences of the N2 MINE. That mine is a non-nuclear bomb so strong that can change the landscape. So there is a little chance that something can survive around that area ;)
Anyway I could have painted some dead bodys or animals etc

Great image! It looks like a background still from an animated production. Like a previous comment said, I'd love to see an Eva walking around in there.
