Opterons 1xx and 2xx

There are Opterons 1x and 2xx and both are dual-core. Does anyone know what "1-way/2-way" actualy mean in terms of performance? because i'm not realy sure and haven't found quite yet the answear.

1 way and 2 way simply determine how many chips you can put in a single machine

You can only plug 1 Opteron 1xx into a motherboard. You can plug up to 2 Opteron 2xx into a single motherboard
