RON PEARLMAN is playing HELLBOY!!! SWEEET!!! That's a perfect casting! Yipee! :applause:
DEEPFRIED: I like your drawing...I think that big muscles are WAAAAAAY over rated. :thumbsup:

Yeah, for a while the studio was pushing for Vin Diesel :thumbsdow ...because he had more star power than Perlman. But the director threatened to walk away if Perlman wasn't cast in the title role, so the studio buckled.

decoy: yeah, big muscles are over-rated. Perman's body type seems so much different from Mignola's design (although his face is perfect). Sometimes a difference in stature can change the character quite a bit. Although, Hugh Jackman being a foot taller than the 'real' wolverine didn't bother me so much.
I didn't spend much time on the drawing but now that is scanned in I can work it over in painter or ps.
Judas_Pilate: Good for Del Toro, great for us! I don't think Vin could have pulled it off.

PsychedelicMind : Hellboy is character from a comic book by Mike Mignola. It is now being made into a movie by Guilermo Del Toro, director of BladeII.
