Is there a way to pur an image or a color bar along a path ? I know it can be done i see this all the time. its kinda like putting letters along a path, but i would like it to be the red and yellow bar below.

Whats the best way to make something like this ?

If I have to use Photoshop, then I use the transform/warp tools to shape the pattern or image the way I want it. Otherwise, I use Illustrator and the vector tools there.
