View Full Version : Alpha and particle error ?!

Hi Everyone,

I´m currently working on my diploma film. But i got u ugly problem now. Maybe some in here can help me, i would glad if.

Ok, first i used a plane with a lambert shader and assigned a tiff picture with the color and transparency IN. Than i picked a spotlight with raytracing and rendered the image via Mray

So i got this ...

Of course i didn´t want the squared shadow, so i turned of the shadow attenuation in the rytracing options. Perfekt.

BUT when i have a particlecloud behind these plan i get the same ugly effekt and it looks like this.

I´ve hided all in this scene, including the lights...

I change the ray depth, the filter options of the filenote and tried an extra alpha b&w file but nothing changed. And the strangest part is that not every plane get this effekt ..

So i´ve no ideas left and very happy if some one can help me out.
