Howdy,

I'm currently taking an animation writing class and I wanted to share one of our assignments, Interviewing an Industry Professional, with you all. I was able to get in contact with Terry LaBan, author of several indie comics, like Unsupervised Existence and Cud. He's also written some Donald Duck comics and wrote some scripts for an upcoming PBS kids show. Hopefully, you'll find a nugget or two from this, http://animationhistory.blog-city.com/terry_laban.htm

Also, check out my fellow classmate, Ralph Pacheco's interview with Tracy Berna, a writer for such shows as Animaniacs, The Xs, Fairly Odd Parents, and Kim Possible, http://animationhistory.blog-city.com/pacheco_interview_berna.htm Our initial questions are posted at this time and once my professor transcribes the recording he'll post up her comments.

If this stuff appeals to you, my professor was thinking of creating a screenwriters series that can be done periodically...basically when screenwriters agree to it. I have two more screenwriters lined up, but class will be wrapping up next week, so I may not be able to do it.

Regards,

Norb
