Hi, I recently started using a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 webcam that i bought last december.

The software that comes with it does some realy cool things IMO. When you set it to calibrate, these tracking dots automatically find your lips eyes and eyebrows. It then tracks your face and moves an animated avatar when you move and talk (even raise your eyebrows). While this may not be new to some, it seems like an incredibly easy (and cheap) way to do lipsync and facial animation.
The expressions arent good but then I paid $80 for the camera and software.
Does anyone know of anything like this that already exists for animation but not at thousands of dollars?
thanks
