I was wondering If i could get some help or be pointed to a tutorial on how to make realistic planets with all of its components (clouds, terrain, bump, displacement, etc.) I had found a link at one point, but it simply explained what the different elements were....any help would be much appreciated :)

Hey there. This is a basic tutorial that should get you started. Getting a planet to look realistic involves lots of trial and error. There are many other tuts on the net................. Deks at sci fi meshes wrote a damn good one, but it is off line right now. Good luck

Hello,
I just found this planet example on gugila site. Maybe it helps - you may wanna download it:

I haven't checked it thoroughly, but it seems cool. Anyway, it's free. There is online manual, so it may talk about how to make the planet.
