Hey all,
The company I work for recently finished a commercial you may have seen on Television for Sears, with CG flowers made of power tools. I just wanted to post some links and images from it because I'm really proud of how it turned out. We had some great concept work, great Previz by Halon and my co-workers pulled off some amazing stuff. I think I did my part as well:)

Anway, check it out here:

now that's AMAZING!! I love all the flowers, a lot of imagination on there. Also the mood and the realism for every single thing and the overall scene. I can't really tell if the bugs are CG or real video composited, at a first glance.

I saw it on t.v. a few times already, so it's definitely getting playing time. That was a brilliant commercial. It was both well executed and highly conceptual. You should be proud to be associated with a great spot.

It's poetry in motion!

Great job!

Could you tell which was really footage and what it was shot on?

Thanks

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Backgrounds were all shot with a macro lens and on film. All the flowers were CG except when the beetle crawls across the wrenches.
