Hey Guys

I wonder if someone out there can help me.

I have a characters head. Now I want to create a strap with an eyepiece on it. Now I have the eyep piece. But I want to to know if there is a way to get an object to automaticall adhere the the surface of another object. In this case I want to know if there is anyway I can get the strap to automatically align flush to the curvature of the head as I model it?

Any suggestions are welcome

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
You could select the face and go to Modify->Make Live. Now all surfaces will snap on the live object. To turn off live go to modify and click Make Not Live.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Manoj

I don't know a lot about them but you may want to check out wrap deformers, it may be a little slow but I believe it should do what you want.

Would using cloth not work at all? That is of course you have cloth available?
