Hi all,

I've been practicing making rigs in Maya. And it's going well.
But one thing I can't figure out is how to attach shapes to joint Goals so that I can select each body part and animate the rig easier.

I know how to make the shapes.
I know how to parent and un-parent things in the Hypergraph.
But i'm still stuck. How's it done?

Thanks.

it's a shape parenting thing...

delete history and freeze transformations on your curve, making sure it's at the origin. Select the first curve, press down arrow to get the shape and then shift select the joint.

Finally use " parent -s -r " in the script window.

Thanks.
It works, but for some reason the shape jumps to a new location after I execute the script.
I must be doing something wrong with the freezing it or deleting the history part.
I'll try to figure it out.

Thanks.
