I noticed that when running Photoshop on a Japanese XP it often switches automatically to Kana input. This is very frustrating, especially when adjusting brush sizes with ] and [.

I keep having to press the 漢字 key constantly.

Is this a software bug or is there a setting somewhere?

I have never had any problems of that sort except when I accidently press the kanji button to go to fullscreen. Which version of PS are you running?

I use CS2, it runs in English. It seems to happen when I use my wacom table. Especially when adjusting brush sizes.

Hmm, I'm afraid I can't help you. I have a tablet at home with PS 6.0.
At work I have 7.0 but no tablet. I haven't encountered the problem so I suspect it might be an OS setting or tablet driver setting.
