If anyone has purchased the ViewSonic VX2025wm (Model 10859) Widescreen LCD Monitor I need your help. This monitor has speakers built into the underside of the screen. I am very happy with the moinitor, but the sound IMO sounds awful. I phoned tech support and they said maybe a speaker wire came loose, but both speakers sound like they're on.
I used to have my audio play from my Mac G4 tower speaker only and the sound was quite good, so maybe I'm comparing apples and oranges, (no pun intended) but is the speaker in the Mac G4 really good or are the speakers in the Viewsonic really bad. I don't know how to describe the sound from the Viewsonic Speakers, other than to say the sound is hollow and cheap sounding. Even at maximum volume the two Viewsonic speakers aren't as loud or as good in quality as my one Mac speaker.
So I have no idea if the Viewsonic speakers are faulty or if this is how they're supposed to sound. I would value the opinion of anyone else who has bought this monitor. Do your speakers sound like this? I know I can buy some computer speakers, and was planning to in the future but right now I'd like to know if this is normal or are they faulty.
