It's kinda wierd that all the boats are heading in the same exact direction. It doesn't look natural.

Nice work, it looks fantastic.
Great, I love This View! But thoes boats damages the atmossphere of the pic 1) why there ain't any boats partly covered with the building 2) why all of the boats are almost on the same point of the river?

maxspider3000:Thanks alot yusif,my pc now is in hospital :D
No actualy it wasn't that hard on my pc this it less than my old cairo scene it was much more heavy,i was at that time model every thing in the scene and moving the camera in the viewport was a big problem but this one is very friendly and render time was 3 about hours :)
Glad you like it thax!

nice scenary, works well, but it can use some variations with the boats (i know people have said it before) but it would make this image rock.

Well the scene itself is nice. What I really love about it is the clouds and the pyramids, great job on that. However, I really feel that the building placement and everything is kinda off, it looks to systemized and repeated to me to actually look like a pharaonic village. The palm trees are aligned and everything seems to in order.
About the boat placement, although it is clear that they are heading back to the city, I still think it is also a bit systemized; I can't put it in correct terms though. The boats also seems to be be placed on the water, rather than sailing through it.
I think that you also should've gave the pyramid a more 'new' look, seeing that you went back in time 7000 years ago, I don't think the pyramids looked like that back then.
Good job overall, this is something that would take me ages to make =).

DeeZeL:Thanks alot man for this valuable comments :)
to be honest i had no plan reffrance for a pharaonic village, but i believe that it should look similer to that, Pharos were building in order as you can see in the temples
About the ships they looks a bit still i must say but i tried to make them look sailing and if you zoom in the picture you will see waves under the ships
Thanks again man glad you like it
Cheers

Wow! What answer!!! It's a matte painting for a lot of elements I look! Do u paint all by hand? A very nice work... Go on so...
elnady
06-07-2006, 10:00 PM
Hi Francesco, yes i painted all the detailes by hand it was alot of fun to add detailes to the buildings to make it look like a mattepainting without using external elements
