View Full Version : linking objects to eachother and others help

after i have linked a holster to the thigh bone, and the gun to the holster it works great.

the character has a belt on too but its not a element object of the body, i just linked it to the lower spine bone. when the character moves, the belt moves with it too but obviously doesnt deform when the character bends.

there is also a strap coming from the side of the holster and is supposed to be clipped on to the belt. how can i do this?

when i combine the strap to the holster and make them part of one mesh, when the leg moves the holster and the strap move, but the other end of the strap that should be clipped on to the belt comes off because its not clipped to the belt. is it possible to link that strap somehow to make it work.

any helpfull ideas will be appreciated. thank you all, and sorry for any missunderstandings.
