well... i orginally intended to do something like king_mobs rock ent, but it seems a large string of those have popped up like mcdonalds restaurants, so i will pull a dante and make a contrapasso

a rock eating creature

it is a friendly creautre
lives in the mountains
detailed storyline later

lol... maybe, perhaps it would be cool to get several of the creatures in the challenege all into on collaborative final image (as well as our own thread final images).

might be cool sometime (mods are you listening) to let one challenge lead into another some time, like one month, model, next texture, next animate! and anyone can take any model from the previous month to do their work... one huge collaboration!

anyhow, mebbs we should try and work out some linked mythology between our characters?

concept one
the muscles will work for the arms.. as they have to lift heavy rock salads, but i feel that the abs dont suit him as he eats lots of rock salads, which cant be too speedy in the digestive system.

The story:
These guys live in the mountains of middle earth and many variations are scattered throughout the realm. they are generally docile and friendly creatures, who just like to have a nice full stomach :) they are generally cumbersome but can pick up quite some speed with time, they also tend to share the same traits as the ents, staying out of other races business unless matters become too much...

Cool concept though! Do you remember the rock biter in Neverending Story? That was a very cool creature! He was also a friendly creature :)

rye: he wont be made out of rock but his skin certainly wont be soft and supple, rock ents arent usually in his diet but a long time ago a rock ent stepped on one of his ancestors, so he still has a bit of a craving for one :)

its been a long time since ive been able to update coz of school
