When in dire need for some inspiration, some help to get in the right tolkien mood (and also to check out some more stuff *not* to model), take a look at this site here (ftp://ftp.sai.msu.su/pub/misc/pictures/tolkien/). It contains lots of Tolkien artwork by John Howe and Alan Lee.

Offcourse, you could all just keep playing the movies on repeat to get inspired, but hey..

Feel free to post more links to good inspirational Tolkien artwork.

Thanks for the link , there is some great artwork there.

i am getting my art of LOTR book tomorrow and watching the movie tonight , that'll get me going :D
