Do you have any more information? What is happening with your furred object at that frame? What kind of settings do you have on the fur? Can you post some screen shots?

here are some snap shots of whats happening at frame one everything is fine then at frame 17 the grass just dissapears and it would stay like that for the rest of the frames, i really didnt do anything to the grass that would make it just dissapear i didnt key it or anything along that line i did apply some fur attractors to the grass so i could animate it but thats about it.

would it be of any help if i post the file itself.

even if you have to start over itll save time in the long run. takes about 2 minutes to get a good result.

Are the fur attractors driven by dynamics? If they are perhaps you should bake/cache the simulation.

Dynamics often goes bad during a batch render if it's not baked or particle disk cached etc.

thats a good idea in general when working with dynamics on maya fur, your scene runs so much smoother when its cached instead of calculating it..

Maya writes out the fur rendered images into its own folder inside the project directory. They are located in projectdirectory/Fur/Fur Images. Check the renders to see if the fur is all there for the entire animation. If it is, then you are having a compositing issue which can be cleared up by compositing your fur separately. If it isn't all there... well lets just check that first.
