If your just learning animation I can say that this is much better than my first piece (hidden away forever...)
Just a couple of things - the walk up the stairs is not bad - I would rotate the hips a little and add some motion to the upper half of his body.
From the moment he gets to the last step - all the way until his body "quivers" a bit at the end - that needs to be sped up. Also I would add a little anticipation to him falling - kind of like when the coyote gets to the edge of a cliff. Unless this was supposed to be a realistic piece.
I would watch some video of someone walking up stairs. Also maybe try and watch some type of emotion of someone falling over or act it out yourself. That way you can get the body movement to follow more - the upper body has more weight.
Good luck - look forward to more updates.
