Ladies and gentleman , i give you: "UG the Smork Stomper"

Ug is a low intelligent beast trained by the dwarfs to track and kill the pesky Smorks plaguing the Dwarven mines. Ug is dumb but strong , and they love to eat smorks.

I really like the nipple chain...that's one effective yet strange way to control a beast...

Very nice and fun looking character,full of life.Kind of reminds me of a cross inbetween the troll of Harry Potter and the trolls of LOTR's..............And that's a very good thing.:beer:

Levin : the render is from xsi , its the toon material. I than took it to photoshop , painted the background and did some tweaks. But the final render will not be toon , i'll paint textures for him. That 2d look is just a test for a short animation i have in mind.

Nice work Sheep! Don't refine muscles...refine the fat, hehe. Make him really flabby and disgusting. Theres probably a website that shows fat people (www.fatpeople.com?) for refs.

Give him a much thicker belt...the current one is a bit feminine in size ;)

hey Sheep Factory,
time I made some noise.
I think your model needs something special to make it really stand out.
Now, it's just a cross between a sumo and a cavetroll. It even makes me think of Mike_RB's fat demon of old. Although his had that something special...
Hmm, I hope I don't come over to negative...
But anyway, there's still time and room for improvements, so have fun and keep it up!

I agree about the nipples, make them less centered. the arms also look squarish.

I made a little paintover in photoshop, for proportion ideas. I think he needs bigger and more powerful feets to be able to stomp extra good. and with big feets comes big hands.

It seems that where the neck should be, there is an odd bit of muscle: don't know what its called, that muscle that runs across the top of his shoulders. It seems to be awfully thin and upright for a free standing muscle mass, and rather lean for such a fat guy. Maybe a lump of lard pushing against the sides of his face?

Anyway, its a really sweet model. Like the feet.
