JulianS 06-03-2006, 09:21 AM cg lighting base on time zone.
Does anyone know how to get this information?
Even better how to translate it to Mental Ray, Maybe using color temperature and mib_cie_d2.
I am trying to create a Cg lighting rig base on time zones like "Maxwell" but first I need to know that information.
Thank you

Currently I am using Maya only... I don't have access to Softimage.
But in Softimage SDK, there is a calculator u can customise the light position, intensity and environment options also(like time, cloudy, winter, etc...) I used long back. that is Softimege 3.5.
a similar calculator like the following link.

If I get some more information, I'll post that.
