View Full Version : Full Body IK Major Issues!!!

Im working on a scene for a competition im entering into and its got this merman guy in it with a full body IK setup - Its having major ssues and i cant figure out why.

I animated the full body IK and it looked great then when i open the scene up again its like its expanded the skin but still pinned it to the Handles. This is the third time ive had to start again as Undo doesnt work either. I think it may have something to do with a Sine deformer ive got on the skin and parented to the Hip efector?

A screen shot would help. My first guess is just to try setting the FBIK to its stance pose. FBIK is a simulation so it dosen't always update properly. Can you play through the animation?

I can play through it allright and the ik's move right its just the skin has expanded - ill post a screenshot tmrw - i think its because i animated the hands and feet and hen the jips effector but it left the hands and feet behind but that shouldnt put out the mesh should it?
