Hi there,

I know we can import a attr map in fluids to do a thing like smoke vanishing logo but is there a way to use a sequence of images (animated attr map) instead of just one image?

If you could load the image at an arbitrary frame, you could append that one frame to the cache. Just append one frame at a time and you'll end up with your animation in a fluid cache. If you can only load into the first frame, just start creating the cache at the last frame. Make sure dynamic simulation is off, load the last frame as initial state, create cache only at the last frame. Then load the next-to-last frame as initial state, go to next-to last frame and append that one frame to the cache.

I'm not up to trying this myself, but maybe there's a small chance it will work.

With scripting you can assign fluid attributes at any frame. Make an expression that loads the current frame's pixels into the fluid.
