hey king,
i told you had a shot at winning. he looks very very very very impressive now youve done all that texture work. must have been a slog mate. :wip: :applause:
i like the pose where the camera is looking up to him: adds real power to his personality.
methinks it would very nice if you could sit him between to mountains in the final composition, with a forest around his knees.

keep going mate. sleep deprivation wont kill you for a while yet!
:wip:

I would love to see him animated and maybe coming out the side of a mountain or something!

Well, in addition to the great modeling and texturing, I believe it was your brilliant concept for the character that really makes this top notch.
I could really see this guy as a character in the movie.

Great work on this King Mob. :) It's my favorite model.

I'm not trying to be pushy (I just want to know what to expect), but are you going to setup an environment for him to be in? Something like a mountain with maybe some objects like trees to show his true size? I think he's so good, he deserves it. ;)

Wow!

Great work - you can really tell that once you got the idea, you continued your work with passion. It shows in the quality and in the personality of your work.

It makes newbies like me wanna try even harder, provides some great inspiration!

Would you be able to display the spec/diffuse etc maps on the thread? I'm sooooooo new to texturing, and I can't get my head around spec/diffuse etc maps. Seeing what they look like from a model like this could teach me a thing or two!

I look forward to seeing future work from ya!

Done very well. But not original too much really. It was done in Neverending story many year ago.Plus color looks to much like water colors. Also a little streathing can be seen. But still it is a good piece.

Y'know, it's been awhile since I've done a challenge here. As soon as I get a job and settled in, I should be doing something this summer!

This thread has really inspired me, great work. I love the design, and the execution was also incredible!
