ramis 03-11-2002, 05:59 PM Well, I've to take this scene to the academy in 3 hours, so I need critiques and suggestions urgently ;) It's for an illumination exercise. Take a look at the image and tell me what do you think. Thanks guys!

it looks great,
make the bump map on the ground
a bit, just a bit, stronger.
Otherwise it looks really cool and
realisitc, what software are you
using.

I'm using max 4.2 with the standard renderer (I think its obvious not finalrender here :) )
Thanks for your suggestion, you're right about the bump

WOW  scanline renderer
I'm using finalrender and i'm not that good,
I guess that software doesn't make the artist, right? :)
check finalrender it's worth a try and it really
helps you lighting a scene.

yeah, maybe now I'll try to adapt the scene to finalrender.... but I want to put more details on the textures first... you know, some noise and dirt
thanks

I ahve not figured fR out, but I like brazil plenty for GI, if you turn up the shade rate to about 55 on Luma Sampling.

I tried some time ago brazil, but it was very late and after 15 minutes of failed tries I went to the bed and never again heheh
This is the final scene by now, maybe more later.
