goosh 01-10-2003, 05:15 PM I was wondering how many people use the Trax Editor.
I personally find it an exellent tool, but never get around to use it :(

i tried it, but didnt like it much, so i use UltraPose to save poses and just to my keyframing.
i think i'll give it another try in next project.
Ive just started to make my way across to Maya from Max and the trax editor looks wicked!
I thought you'd be using it all the time on you characters though goosh? (your rigs are ace by the way)
We had a naf, badly intergrated version in max but this one seems really nice!!

I used it exclusively for my first 3d short film. It worked out great. It is quite finnicky, and can slow down quite a bit if you don't know exactly what you're doing. But once you get into the groove with it it really speeds up the animation process.
