This looks really impressive! The water and the slowing down look stunning. However the frog could probably do a bit more, such as look around, paddle. Its rather brief animation wise.
I think it looks great man. If you would be able to maintain this level of realism for a longer animation I'd say you're up there playing with the big studios. Great work.

nice work! any chance for a secondary ripple when his head breaks the surface?
hope he's gonna snag one of those bugs -they look like easy targets!

Thanks for the comments.
@Jammin - Glad you like it. I want to do a secondary ripple and may go back sometime and add it, but for now I'm done.
@JCGA - Thanks man, thats a big compliment. I'll definitely make my next project longer.
@Womball - I'm glad you like it, thanks. I kind of wanted it brief only because of render time, as it was it took my pathetic machine 2 weeks to render all the passes for this and I didn't even get to do an ambient occlusion pass like I wanted, it was just taking too long.

Wow! The realistic look of this is unbelievable! Do you have much experience in the industry yet or are you still a student? If this is going on your demo reel and you don't have a job yet, I would say this is defineltly going to improve your chances.
My only small critism is that his thumb seems to large compared to his other fingers, although I could be wrong; it's been awhile since I've seen a Bullfrog.
Also, like someone else said, it would be nice to see more animation as he swims before he surfaces!

Hi there, I have been working in the industry since Sept. 05, I work on video slot machine animations, it really is a lot of fun. I tried getting into the TV or movie side of the industry, but never could seem to crack that nut, my work is just not up to par I suppose.
