Hi James, you're working on a nice concept :thumbsup: Great work so far. Can u please post some wires of Gabriella? IMHO, the face is looking good but I noticed the bridge of the nose is a bit too thick. Maybe need to slim it down a bit :) Are u gonna get her all dressed up or she's gonna be nude? If nude, then you might want to adjust the abdomen a little more.... just above the bellybutton there's line going horizontally that doesn't look right to me. I could be wrong but you could still check it out :) All the best with it and looking forward to seeing the finished work!

The shoulder area looks strange, like the arms need to be higher up but not the shoulders.
Isn't the private area a bit pointy?

Digital_Rebellion: The concept is cool thats why I figured I would try to model it. Have you seen the Spawn figure I'm talking about? I will post a wire of her this week and hopefull her in the final pose. I think your probably right about the bridge of the nose. Actually the nose is the part of the face that I don't like so i will work on it somemore. She will certainly be wearing something but I think her abdomen will be showing, so I will work on it also. Her clothes is kind of in the air right now. I have ideas but it will come down to what I feel like at the time.


pap87: Thanks for the reply and I agree with you. The arms do need to be lifted a little. I didn't notice that. Thank you for pointing it out. As for the private area it might be because the two halves are not joined. Either way I will double check it. Thanks

Thanks for the crits guys and I'm working on them for sure. Well here is an update. I've created a rig using a new method called full body Ik. Anyways I still have lots of errors to tweak out but you will get where I'm going with this.

I think some of the shoulder-arm issue is related to the thickness of the body to the thin arms... Her shoulders look muscular (although not "cut" or defined) but her arms look thin and lacking the same level of musculature...
This translates into them looking like they are too low...

Hi there, this is looking really good. She is well modelled and well proportioned, and the dragon is starting to look great. Its arms and hands seem very skinny and weak for a dragon to me, and possibly too human, but maybe it is meant to be a more spell wielding type of dragon?

The dragon is coming along really nicely. I can't wait to see it finished. It seems to have a very strange pose (really arching its back)... maybe it is getting ready to attack the girl? Guess we are going to have to wait for more updates. Great job so far :thumbsup:

Abaddon: Thanks for the nice comments and yes the hands and arms are made this way because he is a magical dragon. I will be making him a staff later.

i LOVE the design of the dragon specially the early pix of its head and chest the only critque i have is the arms look way too human i mean you have the excellent head design the chest and the wings what sets it off is how the arms arent proportionate their smaller with human like fingers itd be cool to see him with longer thicker arms and dragon like clawed fingers.

Thats my 2 cents other then that keep up the excellent work! 4 stars
