well, i desided to try some egypt god. I started this mesh yesterday and added some details until now! (15:32) OUCH!
i worked on the body mostly, but the legs, the back and the arms are still to come! I'm planing to do some dog or bird head just like the egypts gods were.

I really like the body proportions so far; adds a kind of gracefulness to the character.

here is the update! i changed my mind, it's gonna be (i don't know how you say it in english) half a man and half a horse. Just because wanted to practice in somthing new, something i never modeled before - horses.
p.s.
it's just an overal shape, details will follow :)

its called centaur, the model is nice but the torso is too big compared to the horse body

Cool man!

I like the centurion look!! Maybe you can put a bit more mass there where the human body connects to the horse, expecially at the back...

I'll agree with others : need a stretch (man part included) .
But beside this detail, really nice modeling !

Looking realy good so far... I am thinking that its too thin....at least the horse part.....

You should start with the head now, or else we can't see, what style you're going for. Or you will keep getting these "to thin" posts. ;)

He really has an equine head ;) it suits him! NIce horse body, but it needs a tail to keep the flies away. NIce proportions, very skinny.
What accesories (cloths, jewels) are you going to add? I suggest a ponytail (bad joke, i know).

great start there uxus I can see this being awesome.

just the back legs are in majour trouble. they are too straight down the back making them look like a dogs legs.

otherwise excellent couldnt do better my self.

Nice work uxus!

But please take a look at the pictures I posted.

Either you go for the proportions of a real (lol. I really wrote that before I realised) centaur, or you go for something comic-like.

Please keep in mind, that the human part still has human proportions and the horse fits its horse proportions.
You have to find a good balance between them. Think about how a human back would come out of a horse's neck.

If you want them, images:

Horse3 (http://www.vpl.ch/images/Pferd.gif)

But I could not do it better
Keep up the good work
