View Full Version : Strange geometry bug?
ThePriest 05-31-2006, 06:12 PM Have you ever seen anything this odd in Cinema?
On building this component in a new scene and taking back to the final, it distorts and winds up looking like the bottom view.

Try it for yourself, copy this object into a new scene.
I'll forward to Maxon:

the file you attached already has the points pulled down :/ of course unless those are supposed to be pulled down...but in the images you posted it simply looks like you have the camera rotated around to one side of the object....then when you paste into a new file the object is aligned the same but the camera is reset to default

Strange, it isn't for me.
It took all of 1 minute to build, but strange why it would do that.

The mesh wasn't distorted.
maybe try a current state to object and then copy and paste the object that is created? I don't know though cause like I said befor it opens pre distorted
